What GoCrew is

GoCrew is a place where employers post short-term work and people apply for it, and where companies ask each other for quotes. The employer and the crew member agree the work between themselves; GoCrew is not the employer and is not a party to that agreement. GoCrew is free at present and does not charge employers, crew or vendors.

Pay

The employer pays the crew member directly, within the number of days stated on the job (7 days after completion unless the job says otherwise). GoCrew never holds or passes on wages and cannot guarantee payment. It records when completion was confirmed, when the employer marked the wage as paid and when the crew member confirmed receiving it.

Employers' pay record

Every signed-in user can see, on an employer's profile and job postings, how many wages crew members have confirmed receiving on time from that employer. This helps people judge an employer before applying. Only the count is shown: the amounts and the names of the people paid stay between the two sides. Payments that are late or not yet marked are shown only to the employer. This applies to employers who are individuals as well as companies.

What we keep and who sees it

We keep what you enter and what happens on the platform: your account and profile, jobs and applications, confirmations, hours worked, reviews, payment confirmations, quotes, briefings, messages and uploaded files.

Your profile, completed work history, ratings and reviews are visible to signed-in users. Your phone number and email are shown only to the other side once a hire or a quote is confirmed, and to the people you work with in a project team. A profile photo is shown to an employer only if you choose to share it when applying. A quote is seen only by the company that asked for it; the company asking may choose to show which companies it has confirmed.

The service runs on our own server, rented from a hosting company that stores the data on our behalf; sign-up confirmation emails go out through an email service. We do not sell personal data. Files attached to briefings are deleted 30 days after the project ends.

Checking and correcting your information

You can change your profile at any time. If a record about you is wrong, for example a payment you made that is not marked or a completion you dispute, tell the GoCrew team and we will review it. You can also ask for a copy of your information or for your account to be closed.

If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.
